Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing and Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate is required to be proficient in QuickBooks, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions in an accurate and timely manner, including data entry of invoices, payment of invoices, and tracking missing packing slips. Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies regarding vendor management. Utilize QuickBooks for tracking and managing accounts payable activities. Handle inquiries from vendors regarding payment status or discrepancies in billing. Support month-end closing processes by ensuring all payables are recorded accurately. Collaborate with other departments among three locations to resolve any issues related to purchasing inventory and accounts payable. Experience: Proficiency in QuickBooks. Strong 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry tasks. Previous experience in an accounts payable role or similar position is required.
