BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate-to-severe frown lines between the brows (glabella), crow’s feet, and forehead in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time (temporary).

BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered by a healthcare professional as a simple, nonsurgical treatment that is injected directly into the muscles. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form between the brows.

Dermal Fillers

At Dermatology Associates of the Tri-Cities, we are proud to provide a wide selection of dermal fillers to give our patients many options for adding volume to plump lips, smooth lines, or lift & contour cheeks. Dermal fillers can help with fine lines, and may help to achieve smoother, younger looking skin.

The Allergan Juvéderm® Collection of dermal fillers including Juvéderm® XC and Juvéderm® Ultra XC, Juvéderm® Voluma® XC, and Juvéderm® Volbella® XC.

RESTYLANE®

We also offer The Restylane® family of products including Restylane-L®, Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine, Restylane® Refyne, and Restylane® Defyne.

KYBELLA®

Bothered by the fullness under your chin?

KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.” KYBELLA® is the first and only FDA-approved injectable treatment to improve the appearance of moderate to severe fat beneath the chin by physically destroying fat cells.

Vein Reduction

Our sclerotherapy procedure involves injecting special solutions into small broken veins on the legs. After several treatments, a significant reduction in the appearance of the veins can be achieved. As a result, patients can enjoy renewed confidence in the appearance of their legs.

Not everyone who has spider veins or another condition that can be treated with sclerotherapy needs to have the procedure. People should discuss their symptoms and treatment options with their doctor to decide if it is necessary. Before an initial treatment series is started, your provider may do a “test” area to determine which sclerosant solution you respond to best.
